Das Wichtigste in einem Satz

Meastra funktioniert ohne Konto und ohne Anmeldung. Ihre Eingaben (Name, Geburtsdatum, Geburtszeit, Orte, Gespräche mit dem Astrologen) werden ausschließlich auf Ihrem Gerät gespeichert und von der App nicht an uns übertragen — die App enthält keine eigene Server-Kommunikation für Ihre Daten.

Was auf dem Gerät passiert

Die Horoskop-Berechnung nutzt eine mitgelieferte astronomische Tabelle auf dem Gerät.
Die Deutungstexte erzeugt eine künstliche Intelligenz, die mit der App installiert wird und auf dem Gerät rechnet.
Das Vorlesen verwendet mitgelieferte Studio-Aufnahmen und die Sprachausgabe Ihres Geräts.
Löschen Sie die App, sind diese Daten von Ihrem Gerät entfernt.

Die eine Ausnahme: die Ortssuche beim Anlegen des Profils

Wenn Sie beim Einrichten Geburtsort und Wohnort eingeben, übersetzt die App diese Ortsnamen einmalig in Koordinaten. Dafür wird der Ortsdienst Ihres Betriebssystems verwendet (Apple bzw. Google). Dabei wird der eingegebene Ortsname an diesen Dienst übermittelt; es gelten die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Apple bzw. Google. Ihr Name, Ihr Geburtsdatum und Ihre Gespräche sind davon nicht betroffen. Für diesen einen Schritt wird eine Internetverbindung benötigt — danach arbeitet die App ohne Verbindung.

Was wir nicht tun

Keine Konten, keine Registrierung, keine Passwörter.
Keine Werbung und keine Werbenetzwerke in der App.
Keine Analyse- oder Tracking-Dienste von uns in der App.

App-Stores und Abo

Beim Laden der App sowie beim Abschluss, der Abrechnung und der Kündigung des Abos (3 Tage kostenlos testen, danach 3,99 € pro Monat oder 39,90 € pro Jahr) verarbeiten Apple (App Store) bzw. Google (Google Play) Daten in eigener Verantwortung, etwa zu Download und Zahlung. Die App selbst erhält dabei keine Zahlungsdaten; sie speichert lediglich lokal auf dem Gerät, ob ein Abo aktiv ist. The essentials in one sentence

Meastra works without an account and without sign-up. Your entries (name, date and time of birth, places, conversations with the astrologer) are stored on your device only and are not transmitted to us by the app — the app contains no server communication of its own for your data.

What happens on the device

Horoscope calculations use an astronomical table bundled with the app.
The readings are written by an AI that is installed with the app and runs on your device.
Read-aloud uses bundled studio recordings and your device's speech output.
If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device.

The one exception: place lookup during profile setup

When you enter your place of birth and place of residence during setup, the app translates these place names into coordinates once. This uses your operating system's geocoding service (Apple or Google). The place name you entered is transmitted to that service; Apple's or Google's privacy terms apply. Your name, date of birth and conversations are not part of this. This single step requires an internet connection — after that, the app works without one.

What we do not do

No accounts, no registration, no passwords.
No ads and no ad networks inside the app.
No analytics or tracking services of ours inside the app.

App stores and subscription

When you download the app and when you start, are billed for, or cancel the subscription (3-day free trial, then €3.99 per month or €39.90 per year), Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) process data such as download and payment information under their own responsibility. The app itself never receives payment data; it only stores locally on your device whether a subscription is active. Please refer to Apple's or Google's privacy information.
